Religious Education is provided for all parish children who are enrolled in public or non-Catholic private schools. If your child is not enrolled in our Parish Religious Education Program, PREP, please contact the Rectory in August to register. If your child was previously in our PREP classes, they will still need to be enrolled again for the new year.
As part of our religious education program, sacrament preparation is integral to a proper formation in the Catholic faith. Therefore, children enrolled in our Religious Education Program receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Communion, and Confirmation at the appropriate times and grades within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s guidelines. Please contact Lauren Kibler in the Rectory if there are any questions.
Every Sunday from 10:00 AM - 11:15 AM in the School, September through May
When registration for the Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) is open, please download and fill out the Registration form and return it to the Rectory to the attention of Lauren Kibler. Forms can be submitted via mail, email, or in person. Forms must also include a copy of any Sacramental Certificates children already have. Please note that you are required to bring a copy of your child’s Baptism certificate when registering your child for PREP. If your child has not yet been Baptized, please contact the Rectory.
Registration fees for 2022-2023 are as follows:

ADULT RCIA / FAITH FORMATION CLASS
Thursdays, 7:00PM – 8:30PM
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)
This group is for those seeking to understand the Catholic Faith and who are not baptized, or are baptized in another ecclesial (faith) community. It is also for anyone who is baptized Catholic and desires to receive Holy Communion or be Confirmed.
Catholics who have already received the Sacraments of Initiation, and would like to learn more about our faith, are also welcome to attend this group.
Those attending RCIA must be 18 years old or older. Please contact Fr. Smith at 610-272-0402 with any questions or if you would like to register.
Important note for families of home-schooled children:
It is important to keep in contact with the parish in regards to your child’s religious education. Your pastor, Fr. Smith, has requested that all children who are home-schooled receive a midterm and year end test to monitor their progress. Home-schooled children who are preparing for a sacrament during the year, must not only be tested, but must also participate in the Parish Retreat and all events expected from any child receiving a sacrament. Please contact Fr. Smith in the Rectory for more information.
Registration for homeschooling may follow the registration period for traditional catechesis.
PLEASE NOTE: Annual Safe Environment instructions are now called KidTalk. Below are the lessons for each grade level. Please download the correct level for your child and work through the lesson with them.
