BAPTISM

MARRIAGE

Couples contemplating marriage are requested to notify the rectory and make an appointment with Father Welsh.  Arrangements should be made at least six (6) months before the desired wedding date.  Weddings may be arranged for Friday evening and Saturday.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK AND COMMUNION CALLS

Pastoral care for Catholic patients in area hospitals is shared by the local parishes.  If you or a loved one is admitted to a hospital, please inform the hospital administration that you are a Catholic so that you will receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick and Holy Communion.

Holy Communion is brought on a monthly basis to the homes of elderly and ill parishioners who are unable to attend Mass.  Please notify the rectory to arrange a visit.

VISITS TO THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

Every day the church is open one hour before the scheduled Mass and is locked after Mass, except on Sunday’s when the church is open from 6:00 a.m. until after the 12:00 p.m. Mass.  On Mondays the side handicap accessible door is left unlocked until 6:45 p.m. because the Blessed Sacrament is exposed on the Sacred Heart Altar from after the 8:00 a.m. Mass until 6:30 p.m. Benediction.  Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30AM to 4:00PM, all are welcome to visit the Blessed Sacrament reserved in the tabernacle by using the keypad which is located adjacent to the handicap accessible side-door.  Please visit the rectory office to obtain the code (the code is changed on a regular basis).

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INTIATION OF ADULTS

The RCIA is the process by which the Catholic Church welcomes new adult members.  It is an opportunity for those who have not been baptized or baptized Christians from other churches to learn more about the Catholic Church.  Through the RCIA process, those who have not been baptized may be prepared to become members of the Catholic Church through the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist).  Also through the RCIA process persons already baptized in other Christian Churches may be prepared to be received into the Catholic Church through a profession of faith and reception of the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Confirmation.  Catholics who are baptized only and who would like to prepare to receive the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Confirmation or fully initiated Catholics who wish to increase their knowledge of their faith are also invited to share in the RCIA process.

NEW PARISHIONERS

We are always very happy to welcome new members to our parish family!  Please contact the rectory to register with the parish.  Also, we ask parishioners who are moving out of the area to please notify the rectory so that we can update our records.
